(VOVworld) – An Iranian army official says gun fire at the border between Iran and Palestine killed 2 Iranian border guards and a member of the paramilitary Frontier Corps.

The spokesman said the Iranian defense force killed some insurgents, who entered Iranian territory on October 17, and confiscated a vehicle and several weapons. Meanwhile a spokesman for the Palestinian Frontier Corps, Abdul Wasay, says the Iranian force opened fire from other border sides at the Frontier Corps who were chasing two suspects. 

Iran has repeatedly warned Palestine to act to prevent terrorists from entering Iran and assigned the Iranian army to administer the remote border area.
