(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh inspected socio-economic development, poverty reduction, and the new rural development in the northern mountain province of Ha Giang on Wednesday.
Mr. Ninh suggested Ha Giang provincial authorities review successful models and duplicate them in Ha Giang. He urged local leaders to focus on socio-economic development and poverty reduction, which are important to improving the lives of ethnic minority people.
He noted that Ha Giang province needs to enrich its new rural development program and give priority to preserving the cultural identities of its ethnic groups.
