In another development relating to Ebola, more countries have closed their borders with other West African countries, where many people have been affected by the virus. Senegal's decision to close its land border with Guinea, announced by the interior ministry yesterday, is part of intensifying efforts to contain the outbreak which killed 1,350 people since March in Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone.

South Africa has reached an agreement to spend about 3 million USD for the prevention of the spread of Ebola to South Africa and other countries.
