(VOVworld) – A ceremony to mark 210^th founding anniversary of Thanh Dong (older name of Hai Duong city) and 60^th anniversary of the city’s Liberation Day took place on Thursday in Hai Duong city.

State President Truong Tan Sang said Hai Duong city is proud of its tradition, but the national construction and defense set out great tasks and mission that requires Hai Duong to do more to successfully fulfill its targets.

“Hai Duong city needs to continue building a strong political system focusing on successfully implementing the resolution on Party building and the Politburo’s directive on studying and following the moral example of President Ho Chi Minh. It aims to overcome the degradation in political ideology and moral lifestyle, so that Party members are loyal leaders and servants of the people. It is necessary to develop the relations between the Party and the people, which serves as premise to successfully implement any tasks” Mr. Sang said.
