(VOVworld)- Hai Phong city will be vibrant once again with numerous activities during the Hoa Phuong Do (Red Flamboyant Flower) Festival from May 6 – 8.  It aims to promote the image of Hai Phong among both Vietnamese and foreigners.

About 70 other activities will also form part of the annual event including a photo exhibition, street carnival, traditional theater pẻomance, and firework displays. A gala night “Hai Phong-connecting friends” will be held on May 6 at the city’s Theater Square. Nguyen Xuan Binh is Vice Chair of Municipal People’s Committee: “Through the festival, Hai Phong wants to introduce to domestic and foreign visitors its history, culture and traditions. The city has become an attractive destination for both tourists and investors. We are preparing conditions to welcome all visitors”.
