(VOVWORLD) - Chairman of the Hanoi municipal People’s Committee Chu Ngoc Anh has issued a dispatch on safe, flexible co-existence with the coronavirus and effective pandemic containment.

Grassroots authorities are asked to devise their own plans for different sectors, enforce decentralization, and strengthen monitoring to push back the pandemic and recover the local economy. Hanoi will strive to realize as much of its 2021 targets as possible, according to the dispatch. Hanoi authorities will strictly supervise safety protocols, including health declarations, self-monitoring, vaccination, complying with the “5K” health measures, QR codes, social distancing, and using digital health apps.
