(VOVWORLD) - An exhibition themed “Dialogue with Hang Trong folk paintings” opened at Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature) in Hanoi on Thursday.

On display are 38 artworks by 22 artists on silk, lacquer, “do” paper and canvas, as well as 29 Hang Trong folk paintings on “do” paper. The paintings depict the unique culture and religious life of Vietnamese people.
The exhibition is jointly organized by the Center of Science and Culture Activities of the Temple of Literature, folk painting collectors and artisans, and a group of young artists working for a project called “From tradition to tradition”.
The event will run until the end of July.
