(VOVworld)- The Hanoi Friendship Hospital received the title “Labor Hero” at a ceremony in Hanoi on Sunday. Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong and Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam attended the event.

In his address, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam said: “The Vietnamese health sector has developed steadily over the past years. We are proud but not so satisfied with our achievements. We need to address problems concerning human resource, treatment, and health services. With its important role, the Hanoi Friendship Hospital needs to make further efforts to meet increasing demands. The hospital also needs more assistance from the Party, State and the Ministry of Health”.

Also that day, the Vietnam Contemporary Theater was honored with the title “Labor Hero”. Presenting the distinction to the Theater, President Truong Tan Sang praised the Theater’s achievements over the past years and its contributions to national development and cultural integration.
