Addressing the event, Hanoi People's Committee Chairman, Nguyen Duc Chung praised the achievements of the Vietnam U23 squad at the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U23 Championship 2018. He also applauded 9 players from football clubs in Hanoi for making great contributions to the achievements of the Vietnam U23s. Chung presented awards to footballers. Each player of the Vietnam U23 squad received VND20 million. Footballers of Hanoi who played for the Vietnam U23 squad received VND50 million each.
