(VOVworld)- The Secretary of Hanoi Municipal Party Committee Pham Quang Nghi met with overseas Vietnamese and staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in France on Saturday.

Speaking at the event, Nghi highlighted Vietnam’s major socio-economic issues saying that 2015 is of great important year for Vietnam as the Party, people and army will review the country’s developments over the past five years and set out tasks for the coming years. Nghi said his visit to France is aimed at strengthening the traditional relationship between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the French Communist Party and promoting cooperation between Hanoi and localities in France in culture preservation and exchanges.
