VOVworld) – The Hanoi People’s Council concluded its 10^th session on Friday and released a statement opposing China’s illegal placement of oil rig Haiyang 981in Vietnam’s exclusive economic zone and continental shelf.
The statement supports the Party and government policy to resolutely defend territorial sovereignty based on international law. The statement asks China to pull its oilrig from Vietnam’s waters.
