The 25 booths display spring publications of mainstream and local press agencies, reviewing the most notable events of 2018 and outlining predictions for Vietnam in 2019. On this occasion, the Hanoi Journalists’ Association presented the Ngo Tat To Press Award 2018 to 29 works.

"Among 25 agencies taking part in this year’s event, 16 are from Hanoi and 9 are from central media outlets. We invited members of Huong Nam calligraphy club to offer festival goers special works of calligraphy . This year’s Ngo Tat To Press Award has received entries from many reporters and members of the Hanoi Journalists’ Association," said Nguyen Viem Hoang, Deputy Chairman of the Association and head of the spring press festival’s organizing board.

The annual press festival is co-organized by the Department of Information and Communications; the Journalists’ Association and the Department of Emulation and Awards of Hanoi. The two-day event marks the 89^th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3).
