(VOVworld) – Hanoi will increase activities to improve women’s material and spiritual lives and increase their participation in all aspects of life as part of the city’s efforts to implement the national gender equality strategy for the 2011-2020 period.

This year, the city will prioritize training for young and female officers and nominating female candidates for National Assembly and People’s Council elections. It will also review the implementation of laws and policies relating to gender equality and women.
