(VOVworld) - Combating trade fraud and smuggling while ensuring traffic safety is an import task of the Hanoi’s political system, said Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc at Thursday meeting with Hanoi municipal People’s Committee.


He stressed that it is imperative to severely punish corrupt officers who have involved in trade fraud, or aided and abetted smugglers. He also attaches great importance to improving communication activities to raise people’s awareness on detecting and denouncing wrong-doings.
He suggested the municipal authorities to implement several advanced models to ensure traffic safety including operating multi storey parking lots and fast-buses.
