HCM City celebrates 49th anniversary of National Reunification, May Day
(VOVWORLD) - A special art program with the theme “Eternal epic” was held in HCM City on Monday to celebrate the 49th anniversary of national reunification (30/4/1975 - 30/4/2024) and May Day (May 1st).

Comprising of three chapters “National reunification”, “Reconstruction”, and “Vietnam - aspiration for prosperity”, the program recalled Vietnam’s harsh national liberation struggles through such songs as “Road up to the northwest”, “Artillery pulling chants”” “Long Marching” “Dien Bien victory”, “Songs of Hope”, “Marching to Sai Gon” and “Country with complete happiness” among others.
Many of the songs in the program highlighted the younger generation’s national pride and their determination to make Vietnam rich, strong, democratic, equal and civilized.
