Tuyen expressed his hope that the delegation’s visit will open up cooperation in urban transport development. He said Ho Chi Minh City wants to cooperate with foreign enterprises and pledged to create favorable conditions for French companies in order to encourage their investment.

The delegation, which includes the leaders of 14 big French companies, showed interest in Ho Chi Minh City’s plan to develop a Metro system and other types of passenger transportation. They said they have the technology, experience, and economic potential that the city’s Metro and urban railway projects need.
