(VOVWORLD) - Ho Chi Minh City’s High Command will disinfect the entire city in the next seven days as a way to prevent the spreading of the coronavirus virus.

The Ho Chi Minh City Command and chemical engineering units from the 7th Military Region and the Army’s Chemical Corps have arranged two sanitization teams and 16 specialized vehicles for the disinfection.
Binh Chanh District and Thu Duc City are the first locations to be disinfected with chloramine B on Friday morning.
Major General Le Ngoc Hai, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Ho Chi Minh City Command, said: “This is the biggest disinfection program in the entire city ever in seven days. Depending on the pandemic situation in specific localities, we will enhance decontamination.”
