Minister Tien expects that the donation will encourage fishermen to keep on fishing offshore. She said: “The Ministry of Health will offer naval soldiers with micro-surgical equipment. We will speed up our project to strengthen healthcare services on islands, for instance, we will upgrade Ly Son medical center to a hospital. A number of young and talented doctors have volunteered to serve in sea and island areas.”
Earlier, the Ministry of Health presented first-aid kits to fishermen on Ly Son island of the central province of Quang Ngai and on Bach Long Vi island of the northern port city of Hai Phong.
