(VOVworld) - Vietnam High-quality Goods Fair 2015, scheduled for Thursday in Moscow, will create an opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to increase exports to and obtain a firm niche in the Russian market. More than 160 Vietnamese businesses will showcase approximately 12,000 products and goods in 4 categories: garment-textile products and footwear, agricultural products and food, wood furniture, and souvenirs. A number of trade promotion forums will also be held as part of the fair to help Vietnamese enterprises access the Russian market. The fair coincides with the signing of the Vietnam-Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) Free Trade Agreement (FTA), which will come into effect in early 2016. The agreement will reduce tariffs on Vietnamese items like garments, footwear, and agriculture-forestry-aquatic products imported into Russia.
