(VOVworld) – The Ministry of Information and Communications has presented documents and atlas titled “Vietnam’s Hoang Sa, Truong Sa-Historical Evidence” to Vietnamese People’s Navy.

The Ministry of Information and Communications held an exhibition on historical evidence of Truong Sa and Hoang Sa archipelagos

The documents and atlas are part of those collected in Vietnam and other countries including China showing Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos. Vietnam’s sovereignty over these archipelagos have been maintained since the 17^th century in line with international law. Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan said the documents were collected and displayed to pay tribute to naval soldiers who sacrificed their lives to defend Vietnam’s sea and islands sovereignty.
