(VOVworld) – An exhibit to mark the 50^th anniversary of the 1^st victory of the Vietnam People’s Navy on August 2-5, 1964 opened in Nghe An province on Saturday.

The first section, organized by the Museum of the Vietnam People’s Navy, showcased 120 photos and historical documents relating to national sea, islands, and the naval soldiers. The second section displayed 60 photos capturing victories of the people and naval soldiers of Nghe An province and current activities toward national sea and islands. The exhibition remains open for one week.
