(VOVworld) – Ho Chi Minh City inaugurated the upgrade of the Tan Hoa – Lo Gom canal on Sunday, attended by President Truong Tan Sang.

The 3-year project included widening the canal, controlling water flow, expanding the roads lining it, and building bridges, which will improve living conditions of 1 million locals.

The upgrade, worth 93 million USD, is part of Ho Chi Minh city urban construction.
