(VOVworld) – The 11th Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival closed on Sunday. Themed “Impression of World Heritage in Vietnam”, the event featured booths, models, and miniatures to honor natural and cultural world heritage sites recognized by UNESCO. Nguyen Huu Tho, Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association, said: "The festival contributes to raising public awareness about protecting natural and cultural heritages. It’s also a great opportunity to promote Vietnam’s heritages to the world."
The festival is in response to the 2015 National Tourism year themed “Connecting world heritages”
