(VOVworld) – Ho Chi Minh city is holding a ceremony to mark 10 years of its Tourism Festival, with the participation of tourism agents and hotels from 39 other provinces and cities.

The program includes tourism fairs, singing contests and photo exhibitions on Vietnamese tourism. La Quoc Khanh, the Deputy Head of Ho Chi Minh city’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Chief organizer, said: "The event highlights the development and significance of the Tourism Festival, 10 years since it was first organized. It shows Ho Chi Minh city’s organizational skills and sound cooperation between the various sectors and tourism associations which has helped to boost the development of tourism".
