(VOVWORLD) -Cooperation between Can Tho and Ho Chi Minh City is on the right track which creates a driving force for development and open up opportunities for their businesses and investors.

Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee Tran Viet Truong told a conference on Friday to kick off the Socio-economic Development Cooperation Agreement between Ho Chi Minh City and Mekong Delta provinces and cities until 2025.
Can Tho and Ho Chi Minh City will jointly form the Vietnam-Korea Industry- Technology Incubator and create new tourism products, said Mr. Truong.
“Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho city will develop modern trade and service chains and logistic, connect industrial development between enterprises, support OCOP products of the Mekong Delta region to enter distribution channels in Ho Chi Minh City. We’ll cooperate in studying the Ho Chi Minh City-Can Tho railway project, and soon propose the construction of the railway line as soon as possible.”
In the coming months, Ho Chi Minh City is scheduled to work with the Mekong Delta provinces to organize an array of events to connect businesses and investors.
In 2024 and 2025 they will focus on traffic infrastructure, climate change response, science, technology, and digital transformation, education, health, human resource, and employment.
