(VOVworld) - Ho Chi Minh City is preparing for a Japan Festival to be held November 18-20.

At a meeting with special advisor to the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Alliance Tsutomu Takebe on Thursday, Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem said Ho Chi Minh City is ready to host the event, which includes cultural exchanges, performances, trade promotion activities, and agricultural workshops.
Takebe, who is head of the organising board, asked Ho Chi Minh City to work closely with Japan to ensure a successful event, which will be on a larger scale than previous events.
