(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam asked HCMC to implement appropriate measures to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.

During an online meeting with the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City today, Mr. Dam, who is head of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control Committee, said when the city imposes a social distancing rule in a locality, they have to report to the Prime Minister who will direct ministries and sectors to cooperate and avoid unnecessary obstruction to trade and transport.
The government will create the best possible conditions for HCMC because it’s a big city and the gateway to many international connections.
