(VOVworld) – The relationship between Ho Chi Minh City and Vientiane, Laos, is a shining example for others, said Secretary of the HCM City Party Committee Dinh La Thang a reception for visiting Vientiane Governor Sinlavong Khoutphaythoune Monday.

Thang urged both cities to promote delegation exchanges and organize activities to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the two nations’ diplomatic relations and the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Vietnam-Laos Treaty of Amity and Cooperation.
The Vientiane leader said he wants to share experience in tax collection and customs with Ho Chi Minh City.
