Hoa Lu ancient capital upgraded to tourist hub
(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang asked authorities of Ninh Binh province on Wednesday to upgrade Hoa Lu ancient capital to a tourist hub. Hoa Lu ancient capital is an illustration of Vietnam’s splendid development from 968 to 1009 under the Dinh, early Le, and Ly dynasties. President Sang called for a detailed plan to promote its values and preserve the complex. He suggested local authorities involve investors in the upgrade.

On Wednesday, while working in Ha Nam province, President Sang hailed the province’s implementation of agricultural cooperative programs between Vietnam and Japan. He urged the province to adopt more effective agricultural policies now that Vietnam’s realization of free trade commitments and integration into world markets is creating new opportunities and challenges for its agriculture sector.
