The clearing began as court bailiffs read aloud an injunction ordering Argyle road cleared, but proceeded slowly because of clashes as police removed demonstrators from Argyle street, adjacent to Portland street in Mongkok. By late Tuesday afternoon, barriers and demonstrators had been completely removed from the area.
