(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s effective containment of COVID-19 and gradual yet prudent reopening has enhanced its attractiveness as a business destination, according to the Navigator report by HSBC Business Banking on Tuesday.
The report surveyed more than 2,600 companies worldwide.
Tim Evans, CEO of HSBC in Vietnam said that Vietnamese businesses, with suitable digital competence, could help boost the national growth. The EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement ratified in June encourages businesses to redesign their supply chains to meet the EU’s requirements and take advantages of opportunities that the trade deal offers, he said
Evans noted many companies in Vietnam have been harnessing technology to meet production and business standards and market trends.
