HSBC: Vietnam’s economy to grow in 2014
HSBC has predicted that Vietnam’s CPI will increase by 8.3% in 2014, a big jump if compared with 2013’s expected rate of 6.6%.
(VOVworld) – The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) has reported that Vietnam’s production conditions improved last December with increased output and jobs. In its latest study, HSBC attributed the rise to the rally of new orders.
In December, the number of new orders rose, for the third time in the past four months. Production output saw its third consecutive increase and the fastest rate of increase since April 2011. Inventories of finished products shrank dramatically.
HSBC economists say the production sector will continue to contribute to Vietnam’s stable growth in 2014.
