Hungarian NA Speaker backs funding for key projects in Vietnam
(VOVworld)- Vietnamese Party General Secretary Trong on Monday hailed the Hungarian NA Speaker Kover Laszlo’s visit as a significant milestone to develop the traditional friendship and multi-faceted cooperation between the two nations.

At a meeting with the Hungarian official in Hanoi, Trong thanked the NA, government and people of Hungary for their support to the Vietnamese nationals living and working in the country. He said in its foreign policy, Vietnam continually treasures ties with traditional friends, including Hungary adding that Vietnam is determined to further strengthen ties between the two nations, especially between the two legislatures. Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary Kover Laszlo expressed his support to the funding for several key projects in Vietnam provided by the Hungarian government, including those in economics, trade, health care, education and energy. He vowed to continue working closely with the Vietnamese legislature, promoting ties between the two ruling Parties and serving as a bridge for the relationship between the European Union and Vietnam.
