(VOVworld) – The International Monetary Fund on Saturday urged Israel to remove restrictions on Palestinians. According to the IMF, the economy in the West Bank and Gaza strip is weakening amidst escalating political instability. The IMF also called on international donors to further support the Palestinian economy. The IMF forecast in February that economic growth in the West bank and Gaza strip is estimated at 2.5 percent this year, an increase of 1.5 percent compared to last year.
