Vingroup increases support for farmers

Over the past six months, the company signed contracts with 500 farmers in Lam Dong, southwestern, and northern provinces to produce and consume clean agricultural produce. Deputy Director of the VinEco company Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao said the company plans to cooperate with 1,000 farmers and cooperatives to serve domestic and overseas market: “We want to expand the model and export farm produce to foreign markets. We are cooperating with 140 farmers in Lam Dong to produce 50 tons of farm produce of 90 different types each day. We will continue to expand the production region and cooperation with farmers and at the same time implement technical and capital support programs.”
