(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Vietnam Women’s Union have signed a coordination program to increase women’s participation in the National Assembly and People’s Councils over the next 5 years.

The two sides will coordinate in recommending policies and nominating female candidates to the National Assembly and People’s Councils as well as increasing women’s capacities, establishing a network of female officers, and supervising the election process.
