At a reception for Roshni Nadar Malhotra, CEO of HCL Corporation and Chairperson of HCL Technologies – one of the three biggest tech firms in India – Mr. Hue expressed his support for the company’s business activities in Vietnam, particularly in technology and high-quality human resources.

Receiving Suchitra Ella, Joint Managing Director of Bharat Biotech, a pioneering biotechnology company known for its world-class R&D and manufacturing capabilities, Chairman Hue welcomed planned cooperation between the Indian firm and its Vietnamese partners. The NA Standing Committee will soon issue another resolution that gives the green light to the Government to roll out a number of specific mechanisms and policies in the health sector, including several relating to medical supplies and COVID-19 treatment drugs, Mr. Hue said. This will be an opportunity for Bharat Biotech to expand cooperation and transfer vaccine production technology to Vietnamese partners, he added. On this occasion, Ella presented 200,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine for Vietnamese children.

Chairman Hue also met with billionaire Prakash Hinduja, Chairman of the Hinduja Group in Europe, one of the world's biggest family businesses. Mr. Hue said he hoped his visit to India will spark a new wave of Indian investment in Vietnam. He proposed that the Hinduja group establish a representative office in Vietnam in preparation for carrying out projects there.
