(VOVworld) – The Indian Army confirmed on Thursday that it had crossed the Line of Control (LoC) and conducted strikes on several terrorist launch pads, inflicting significant casualties.

The attack, carried out by both air and infantry forces, targeted seven terror launch pads to pre-empt imminent infiltration into Indian territory, said Lieutenant General Ranbir Singh, Director General of Military Operations (DGMO).

The attack came after a credible intelligence source said terrorists had already crossed over the LoC planning to attack Jammu state, Kashmir, and other targets in India in the coming days.
