The agreement will provide a basis for further cooperation during the clinical trials, production, and distribution of NanoCovax on a mass scale once the vaccine receives permission to be used in Vietnam.
This cooperation was the result of talks between the Indian firms and the “Rapid response team on drugs and vaccines” established by Vietnamese Ambassador to India Pham Sanh Chau.
The Embassy is promoting the establishment of a 500-hectare pharmaceutical park in Vietnam with an initial investment of 500 million USD. The park, which will create jobs for 50,000 direct workers and 200,000 indirect workers, could generate as much as 5 billion USD in export revenue.
