Indonesia smashes bombing plot on mosque
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam News Agency in Jakarta on Saturday quoted Indonesian News Agency Antara as saying that the Police of Seruyan, Central Kalimantan, arrested a terror suspect for allegedly placing a homemade bomb inside the local Nurul Yaqin Mosque.

HG, alias Iwan, aged 22, was detained on Saturday at 4:20 a.m. local time, Agung Tri Widiantoro, Seruyan Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner, said.
Agung said they faced no resistance while arresting the perpetrator at his residence in the morning.
The mosque's guard first spotted the bomb. The people of Seruyan were shocked by the finding. Commissioner Hendra Rochmawan, the Central Kalimantan Police’s spokesman, said investigation into the motives and intentions of the perpetrator in planting the bomb is undertaken.
