(VOVWORLD) - Gianni Infantino was re-elected FIFA president for four more years at the 73rd FIFA Congress in Kigali, Rwanda, on Thursday.

Infantino, who ran unopposed, will continue to run the world’s largest football organization for a third term.
During his previous term, Infantino made significant reforms to world. He played an important role in expanding the Men’s World Cup from 32 teams to 48, beginning in 2026, and expanding the Women's World Cup from 24 teams to 32, beginning this year.
