(VOVWORLD) -The Ministry of Information and Communications on Friday inaugurated the system of information sharing and monitoring to serve E-government.
It is the a joint project by the Alliance against malware and cyber attacks which comprises 5 Vietnamese technology corporations: BKAV, Viettel, VNPT, FPT, and CMC. The system will analyze and give early warnings to ministries, sectors, and localities to ensure cyber security for E-government. Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam addressed the inauguration ceremony as part of the Vietnam Information Security Day 2019. He said: “Awareness is most important. The Vietnam Information Security Association must continue to ensure that agencies, businesses, and people are well aware of the importance of information security otherwise they will suffer the damage.”
In its trial run, the system shared data to ministries, sectors, and all 63 centrally-run cities and provinces.
