Inter-Korean meeting makes DPRK-US summit closer
(VOVWORLD) - US State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert said on Thursday that the just-announced meeting schedule between South Korea and North Korea will push the North’s meeting with the US closer.

Nauert said in a press briefing that the US State Department is planning for the meeting with focus on denuclearization in the Korean Peninsula and pushing it ahead in full and good faith.
She added that the US has had many conversations with South Korea about the potential contents.
The two Koreas on Thursday agreed to hold a summit on April 27 in the truce village of Panmunjom, the first meeting between the leaders of the two sides in 11 years.
