(VOVworld)- On Tuesday, the 6th International festival of traditional Vietnamese martial arts opened in Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province. 52 delegations with more than 1,000 martial artists from Vietnam and 9 other countries attended the event.

Under the theme “Vietnam’s traditional martial arts Gala”, the festival opened with martial arts and art performances to promote Vietnam’s traditional martial arts, particularly Binh Dinh’s martial arts. Chairman of the Binh Dinh provincial People’s Committee Hồ Quốc Dũng said: “Binh Dinh’s martial arts are recognized as a national intangible heritage. The festival, initiated by Binh Dinh province, continues to be supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. The 6th International Festival of Traditional Vietnamese Martial Arts once again proves the development and attraction of Vietnam’s traditional martial arts. The festival has become a rendezvous for lovers of traditional martial arts.”
