(VOVworld) – President Tran Dai Quang received delegates to a forum on Vietnamese business connectivity and integration in the time of new-generation FTAs in Hanoi on Thursday.

He said international integration and cooperation is a major strategic objective in order to successfully fulfill the tasks of national construction and defense. He acknowledged the contributions of the business community to national development and urged them to focus on business production, long-term market development, and increasing the competitiveness of their products and services. He said: “It is necessary to undertake measures to protect the legitimate interests of the state, enterprises, and domestic consumers as well as join regional and global trade, financial, and monetary institutions. It is also important to develop a business community with political awareness, business culture, social responsibility, and the best qualifications to join national and global value chains.”

President Quang asked ministries and localities to provide businesses with updates and help them find markets and partners.
