(VOVworld) – An international press delegation attending the 12^th National Party Congress, including delegates from Lao Paxaxon newspaper, Cambodia’s Brochichuon newspaper, and the French newspaper L’Humanite, visited Voice of Vietnam on Monday. At a reception for the delegation, VOV Vice President Vu Hai briefed his guests on VOV’s development over the past 7 decades and efforts to improve its overseas communication activities as part of Vietnam’s international integration. Hai said VOV has 8 radio broadcasting channels and 17 television channels, 2 online and 1 print newspaper, adding that VOV also has an overseas service targeting overseas Vietnamese and foreigners: "VOV has cooperation relations with more than 50 broadcasting and television organizations worldwide. VOV has been an active member of the Asian Broadcasting Union (ABU), the Asia Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD), and the International French Speaking Radio-Television Council (CIRTEF). We have co-organized with many renowned broadcasting stations to produce programs about different cultures and music from around the world."
