(VOVworld) – An international seminar entitled “Vietnam-Sino cooperation in the new period” opened in Hanoi on Friday to mark the 65^th anniversary of bilateral ties between Vietnam and China.

Delegates discussed trade and investment cooperation, measures to consolidate mutual trust, and voiced their opinions over issues regarding Tonkin Gulf cooperation in the Vietnam-Sino relationship. They also proposed research cooperation on several pressing theoretical issues for both countries. Xi Hui, Minister Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, told the seminar that China always attaches importance to the traditional friendly relationship between Vietnam and China, adding that bilateral ties are growing well thanks to the efforts of both countries.
