(VOVworld) - The International Tourism Expo of Cambodia – Laos – Vietnam Development Triangle with theme of “Three countries – One destination” opened on Friday in Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province. This event is part of the International Conference on “Promoting Tourism Linkage between the Central Coastal region and the South-eastern region, the Central Highlands and provinces from southern Laos and north-eastern Cambodia”, scheduled for September 11^th and 12^th in Phan Thiet city. The aim is to introduce potentials, advantages and opportunities for tourism investment of locals participating in the conference. Nguyen Thanh Tam is deputy chairman of the Binh Thuan provincial People’s Committee: "We’ve welcomed to the event a lot of visitors from Laos and Cambodia. Tourist products introduced at this expo are quite interesting and diverse. Our aim is to increase connectivity among provinces of the Central Coastal and South-eastern regions, as well as the Central Highlands, and to increase these regions’ tourist products’ values."
