(VOVworld) - A seminar was held in China’s Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on Wednesday to introduce business and investment opportunities in Vietnam.

Vietnamese Ambassador to China Dang Minh Khoi briefed participants on Vietnam’s economy and its policies to attract investment. He said Hong Kong plays a vital role as a gateway for the Vietnamese economy to reach out to the region and beyond.

The Vietnamese and Chinese governments have set up a number of cooperation mechanisms to create new opportunities for their business communities. Representatives of the Vietnamese Ministry of Planning and Investment urged businesses from China’s Hong Kong and Macau Special Administrative Regions to find out more about Vietnam’s investment environment.
