Investors hope for further breakthrough mechanism in PPP draft law
(VOVWORLD) -Investors have hopes for further breakthrough in the draft law on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Investment, which will be reviewed by the National Assembly at its May session.
Investors voiced their opinions at an online discussion held on Wednesday by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Institute of Policy Research and Media Development and the US Agency for International Development (USAID).
The draft law is expected to reflect the principle of equality between partners in PPP contracts, harmonious sharing mechanism of risks and interests. VCCI President Vu Tien Loc said: “The Vietnamese Party upholds three breakthrough points including those in infrastructure. This requires PPP legal framework to be a breakthrough in its field.”
